The Hedges Family

Four Diamonds Estate was established by the Hedges family in 2017.  Land that was previously used to feed livestock and grow corn was converted into a 22 acrevineyard by the Hedges, with the help of Herb Quady, in 2020.  We are family owned and operated, located in the Applegate Valley in Southern Oregon. Our goal is to provide quality, organically grown wine grapes to Oregon and Northern California Winemakers. Nestled at the bottom of a valley along the Applegate River, we grow 11 different cultivars and have now expanded to 27 planted acres. Our vineyard was designed to provide “new to the area” and interesting cultivars to Winemakers in Oregon and Northern California. Our Ruch gravel sandy loam soil, irrigation pulled from the reliable Applegate River, along with our Mediterranean climate allows for the ability to ripen a wide range of Vitis Vinifera.  That in combination with our meticulous farming practices carried out by our amazing team result in quality fruit, bursting with flavor and wonderful acidity.
